2003 marked the fiftieth anniversary of "America's Only Sports Car" (providing you don't count all the other American sports cars). To celebrate, Chevrolet offered a special 50th Anniversary package, RPO Z25. It was available as a coupe or convertible and came complete with special fender badges and its own paint color, "Anniversary Red Metallic".
In Indiana, cars can be issued "Historic Vehicle" license plates when they're twenty-five model years old, so this 50th Anniversary 'Vette is only four years off from being able to wear year-of-manufacture plates.
