So, just how wide is his stance?

I'm sorry, but anybody so obsessed about the fact that the current student body president of their old alma mater is gay that they'd risk their career by going all Stalk-y Smurf, writing and maintaining a rambling anonymous blog railing against the evils of gay cooties, is probably tormented by their own strange desire to hang around bus stations. If you know what I mean.

Were I a Michigander, I would be mortified. Not so much at the content of the blog, because it's a free country and you can hate whoever you want to, but by the form and style... or rather the complete lack thereof. The idea that someone with such a complete lack of facility with his native tongue had risen to a position of power in my state government... I mean, this guy graduated from law school? Are his legal briefs also liberally sprinkled with ALL CAPS and "scare quotes"?

Odd. CNN doesn't mention what political party the stalker Asst AG belongs to. Must be he's a Democrat. If he was a Republican it would be noted in the lede.

Good catch!

However, since he's a civil service employee and not an elected official, his party affiliation is moot. Reading his stuff, I'm assuming his loyalties are to the GOP.

Gay-smay. Who cares, "as long as one doesn't scare the horses and children.", as the Late Victorian saying went.

Sexuality, as an issue, is effin' obsolete, period. Grow up, peeples. Participation is NOT mandatory,y'know?

BTW, speaking of Late Victorian,I sorta think of us living in an Era, very similar to that of the late British empire, just prior to The Guns of August. 2014?

Sexuality may be the very least of our worries. I'll take an excellent marksman of any persuasion, over another person who is unable and unwilling to shoot, in self defense.

Flaming, flamboyant gay people annoy me for the same reason that loud, preachy religious people do- they are so in your face with their beliefs, that it makes you wonder just who they are trying to impress with their show.

However, living in Florida, I know more than a few lesbians and gays who, while being open about it, do not flaunt it, and I would rather hang out with them than some sanctimonious, preachy religious prick.

Who cares about the Student Bar Association President? I cannot remember ever caring.

The SBA existed to throw keg parties twice a year with Professor Conviser's money.

Maybe the guy writes posts in normal, gramatical english and then runs them through the Dialectizer set on "B1FF" mode.

Come to think of it, nobody would ever be able to analyze your style that way. Kind of Anonymizer-lite, even.

I got a problem. Every time I think I've settled on who it is I really, really hate, some dickweed comes along and messes up my list. I mean, I'm all set to scope out clock towers in the area of the most hated persons, and then some new person or group is brought to my attention and I have to start all over.

Right now I'm kind of torn between people who talk way too loudly on their cell phones in public and the entire US Senate and House of Representatives.

Steve: if it helps, a large section of the population would be done a favor if you chose the latter.

WV: Mourbo.
Richard Nixon's Head: Hello Mourbo, how's the family?
Mourbo: Belligerent and numerous.
Richard Nixon's Head: Good man. Nixon's pro-war and pro-family.

Didn't this guy play the youngest brother in "Arrested Development"? I smell the steamy aroma of a lovers tiff.
