Overheard in the Office:

Me: "The Taliban is condemning the suicide bombing..."

RX: "What? Did they not touch first base or something?"

Me: "They're saying it's outside forces trying to divide Afghanistan. 'Somebody set up us the bomb.'"
"Trying to divide Afghanistan"? Hey, kids! Here's your chance to use "tautology" in a sentence today!

After a careful perusal of all the Media sources available at this time vis-a-vis the current Afghanistan/ Pakistan/United States/ Taliban crisis, tautologically speaking, one can only conclude that it all Bush's Fault.

Can I assume the Taliban have hired Baghdad Bob as their new press secretary?

Er, maybe it wasn't tautologically incorrect, does anyone know where he was 'carrying' the bomb? :-0

Sorry, Tam. I'd much rather read about a cute American gal chopped by a propeller than the Muslim suicide bombing of the day.

Of course you would, and the news directors understand this, hence the jeans-creaming that went on yesterday.
