The ZB II platform was in production from the 2008 through 2010 model years. Displacement had been bumped up to 511 cubes (8.4 liters) and output rose to 600 horsepower. When it was discontinued after 2010, it was assumed that was the end of the Viper but, like Palpatine, it made an implausible comeback a few years later.
