Oh. My. God.

Please put your beverages down and swallow whatever is in your mouth before the halfway point of the video. VFTP Mgmt. is not responsible for soaked keyboards or choking incidents. Thank you for your cooperation.

If you find yourself singing this catchy ditty later in the evening or, worse, at work tomorrow, blame Sarah at Pointypen.com.

Anata we dari desu ka? Baka no?

Not uncommon. They have a thing about their bowels. When I've worked for them, I have been asked . . . well, you know, things that would be considered strange or impolite here. Chalk it up to Nerd Culture.

Looks like one of those programs that teach English over there. They always have a movement with the phrase to cement it in.

A workout for the mornings in hotels with mystery breakfast buffets. Thanks!

Oh, those zuiken girls are so kawaii (cute)!

Learning Engrish while they do their aerobics in skimpy Spandex. The 20 Minute Workout lives on!

If they had them when I was learning Spanish, I'd speak that language better than Placido Domingo by now, instead of the pidgeon Spanglish I get by with.

Hie Hie! Domo Arigato Brindo San. And you've almost exausted my supply of Ginza-Wa. What is the exchange rate on Yen nowadays?

Pretty funny, unless you've ever worked from technical manuals translated to Ja-pinglish.

Ahh, the inscrutable East. Who among us can ever unlock her secrets?

Is this your first encounter with the Zuiken girls? There's a bunch that are really hilarious.

My daughter, who is in her fourth year of Japanese Language and Culture class in high school, literally fell down laughing while watching this. She's off to e-mail it to her teacher now!

Someone has a much different sense of humor than I do.

Around our house this would be called "Scott Humor". Scott being my wifes last name. She and her family would think it was funny.

Ed,

Two years of college Japanese 15 years ago, I'm lucky I could even put that sentence together. As it was, I dithered between "kono" and "sono" and had to go look them up :)

And my sensei, may she rest in peace, would be horrified that I used "gutter" language.

(This morning's rate on yen is 89.0611 to the dollar.)

Thank you, Tam! I just know that there is going to be a use for this after the upcoming inaugural speech.

This was probably NOT the thing to see before I go to work in the ER today!

There's no way I'm gonna be able to keep a straight face and not sing!

Oooookay. It's been 22 years since I've lived in Japan, and I thought I'd encountered some weird things while I was there.

This ... egad.

I"m curious...does flapping one's arms while wearing spandex actually HELP the diarrhea?
(No, not curious enough to try it and see.)

WV: ragrated. Is your diarrhea ragrated?

Nothing like dancing girls chanting "Spare me my life!"

It's like it's Nanking all over again!
