Automotif CCXXXV...

Super-clean lightly customized 1969 Buick Electra 225. I had a hard time identifying it at first because not only is my Buick-fu weak and the car had been de-badged, but I was looking in the wrong years.

The lack of FMVSS-mandated side marker lights had me scouring pre-'68 cars, but the 4 Ventiports said "Electra" and the svelte front bumper didn't match the heavy wraparound chrome on the front of those older cars. Except when the owner de-badged the car he also removed the side marker lights and filled in the mounting holes before re-painting his sled.

He and his girl had been at Indy Arms Co. doing some shooting while I was picking up a test gun, and I made sure to compliment him on his ride when he came out.
