A touching memorial to Ed Rasimus.
Ed and I bounced horns a couple of times, but mostly I was just a dewy-eyed groupie who was tickled he even paid attention to my maunderings. There's one less empty chair in Valhalla, and we who remain are diminished.

Thanks for this Tam. Ed was an old friend, who liked to argue, and I'll miss him.
Ed was the real deal, that's for sure.
Sadly; I have seen the missing man too many times.
Holy crap, if he's who I think he is, I have a signed copy of his first book around here someplace.
I didn't know he had a blog too.
Damn.
Tell RobertaX that what she posted was a great tribute to a man that sadly I never knew except for this media. Wish I could have met him.
What, you're not talkin' to me?
;)
Dang. :(
I didn't know.
The world is indeed a smaller place. Sir, it was an honor to have had even the little contact with you I did.
I'll miss the man. I left a comment or two on his blog, and he responded. That is all the relationship I had with him. He did tell us all about what a really cool airplane the F-105 was.
I, too, am not talking to Roberta.
