...and stereotypes always travel in pairs...
I picked up the terminology from Shootin' Buddy originally, but it's just so handy:

Sooo, you're out on Broad Ripple, gettin' ticked off with the herd beasts, at this hour? Run out of coffee or sumthin'? B-).
I've found that Parker and Payton works well for pairs of boys or girls nowadays ;p
I probably don 't get out enough...which stereotype are Seth an Jared?
Just hope Boudreaux and Thibodeaux don't come callin'.
James Sullivan,
College-age dudes. "Caleb and Noah" would probably be more contemporary...
Got it. Although, even Caleb and Noah are becoming outdated, if that is the case.
I've seen an awful lot of Brodys and Carters, lately.
Frick and Frack were unavailable for comment.
Pretty good, but Cletus' buddy is named Edgel, not Jasper.
If Edgel is travelling with a woman, it's probably Madge.
Don't forget Tiffani and Amber's BFFs, Brandi and Cyndi.
I went to college in Southern CA. Lots of them there.
Coy and Bubba (from Arkansas)
Rastus and Liza (from Pine Bluff, Arkansas)
Sven and Ole (from Minnasota)
Pierre and Boudreaux (from Louisiana)
Tiffany Amber Smiff, I mean Smith, is a major character in the web comic Powerpoint Ranger.
Being of Irish descent, Pat and Mike are the stereotypical names I'm familiar with. And I even know a set of brothers with those names.
Joaquin y Juan
Bubba & Earl (moonshiners, SW Virginia)
Earl & Tyrone (crack dealers, Detroit)
Juan & Hector (coke dealers, Miami)
The Honorable & Esq. (grand theft by deception, Washington, D.C.)
Annnd.... Stretch wins teh intertubes! (Honorable & Esq.; tee-hee!)
They travel in pairs because they take turns carrying the brain, you know.
