A test passenger for the new "ultra economy" or "super steerage" class did not survive seven flights on a Russian Airbus A-330, according to news reports.
(Actually, he probably didn't survive even the one, but it took that long to find his freeze-dried remains. I'm sure he went through security before wandering out to the tarmac and stowing himself in the gear well, though.)

You'd think he would just stay in Atlanta...
Why do people do this? Do they think they'll be able to crawl into the plane from there once the gear's up?
Just seems like one of the uglier forms of suicide, that's all. Like unto deliberately eating my sister-in-law's cooking.
These days the Kildar can afford to fly chartered. People do the strangest things to save money.
"Raisin"...heh.
Did you mean "Ray's in the landing gear!" perhaps?
Reminds me of the two fools who went AWOL in Germany back in the '80's. These two rocket surgeons got into a shipping container thinking to be transported back to the USA. When the container arrived some months later, their mummies were discovered.
I have no pity for fools. ;)
Southwest Airlines saw that story and thought "now how can we charge people for seating there."
Could save on installing those snubber thingies that stop main gear wheel rotation once retracted...
Damn, T.Beck, that was what ran through my brain, too...
WV:"are sabingo" -- I am not, there've been wonderful advances in topical salves!
