Isn't it Ironic?

It always feels like kind of a gyp when a holiday comes on your regular day off...

(On the other hand, I've checked ahead and noted that my rapidly looming birthday falls on a Thursday as well, so it all balances out.)

Drew I daresay I speak for both of us when I stongly suggest that whtatever the hell age TK is just turning, that's when the hell life begins. At.

IIRC she's XXXIX forever, give or take an X. Because nobody wants to be XL.

Doesn't look a day over XVII. I'm thinkin' the extra two decades an' two years are just padding so she can A) buy smokes and beer and B) ensure you'll read at least five words she's written, 'cos that's all it takes before you're hooked.

Speaking of ironies, what I find most ironic about that song is that nothing in it is an irony.

My boss came by and sat down last week. I knew it was coming. The "sorry again" speech.

Yep, another Christmas and new years at sea again. This stinks. 2 years in a row with Christmas on the boat.

Offshore duty, at least I can take some time off in Perth on the way back.
