Irony, thy name is MSNBC.

Contessa Brewer was hoping that the Times Square "bomb" hadn't been planted by an Islamic terrorist for fear that it would fuel outdated views, prejudice, and bigotry.

She hoped it came from some illiterate Jesus-clingin' hick from flyover country instead.

Contessa apparently wouldn't know irony if it chewed her nose off.

THINKING LIKE A LIBERAL:
I hate tea party people and want to kill them all; they must feel the same about me. Therefore, all tea party people are murderers. These violent, murdering tea party people have seduced this poor Muslim into believing that violence is an acceptable method of political change.
The Right is to blame for this bombing attempt, whether they actually did it or not.
The world will be a better place when we can peacefully and compassionately kill off all these troglodytes who oppose Obamessiah.

A red-state, dead-ender, military vet, hillbilly would have made a bomb that works. She will know when the real hick attack starts - MSNBC might be high on their target list.

One word: speciation. There is absolutely no chance that viable offspring could result from this variety interbreeding with H. sapiens. I propose a new species designation: Homo domesticus.

Wow! Just...Wow! That woman is certifiable. To declare that recognizing that a jihadist actively tried to harm us is bigotry is irony in the extreme, as it shows her own monstrous bigotry toward Tea Partiers, and toward America.

She's either a complete idiot, or she's on the enemy's side.

It ll mkes sense if you notice the adjective.

OUTDATED bigotry.

Progressive, modern, hip-n-cool bigotry just means you're in the club.

That ol' Irony been flittin' around under all kinda noms de plume recently.

Some, like the network where NBC used to be, are obvious and expected.

Others, not so much.

Check out the headline on CBS: "Faisal Shahzad's Motive Shrouded in Mystery"
(at this link).

Gosh, we can't figure out why he might have done this. It's a mystery!

Staghounds beat me to it.

Actually we leave the cousin humping to the damnyankee citydwellers who have been on welfare for four generations since Carter was President. Around here, marrying your cousin means you have too few relatives to visit for Sunday Dinner and you wear your welcome out too quick.

Lenin coined the phrase "useful idiots" for just such a person.

This is actually an improvement. AFAIK, she never even acknowledged the mistake ever existed in the "'white' people showing up with guns" at a ObamaCare rally.
