I had wondered if you had snagged one of those...

It's a very small picture on my Blackberry. When did Beretta start making 1911s? Who'd a-thunk it?

I'm especially interested in hearing a comparision of this to your Springfield Pro and the Colt you have set up to match the Pro.

That is Coal Creek Armory, correct? That would explain some stuff I've read in comments here and there.

I like the home-made anti-glare finish on the chamber.

That'd be about 900 rounds worth of schmutz. ;)

You broke my heart not using the Springfield Pro.

I understand about the 20lpi checkering tearing up hands. That is why I moddified some pachmayr wrap around grips to fit mine.

But then again I ran Todd's class with a S&W M&P9 with a Bowie Tactical Trigger job, so who am I to talk?

That doesn't look like it needs to be cleaned to me; just looks like it's getting warmed up.

I can attest that, even after I, the anti-1911, touched the gun it continued to go bang when the trigger was pressed. Over and over again. That may be a first...
