Happy Birthday, USMC!

On this date in 1775, the first guy to sign on the dotted line in Tun Tavern in Philadelphia turned, looked at the second guy in line, and said "Things were different in the old Corps!"

Happy Birthday, Devil Dogs!

Happy second birthday to the Marines. Their first birthday was July 1834. After WWI it was changed and back dated to 10 November so they could have 11 November (Armistice Day) to sober up.

Happy MC Bday, Marines, and a Happy albeit early Veterans Day to every last one of our bravest men and women who have fought for this country whether or not its citizens were behind them or not. You are the true heroes.

My younger son joined the USMC on 9/1/10. They won't even admit him until next May, they are so loaded with enlistees.

USMC - the best of the best.

Happy Birthday jarheads!!!!
