Boomsticks: W00t!

Look what followed me home yesterday! I think I'll keep it.

I know it sounds oxymoronic, but this is maybe the nicest Tok I've ever seen; the trigger pull isn't even half bad. It's Radom-marked and dated 1948, and is sitting in the rack next to my ViS 35 Radom even as I type this. If you're really quiet, you can hear the two pistols talking to each other.

"Commie!"
"Nazi!"
"Traitor!"
"Sellout!"

Yeah, they're definitely Poles apart.

Get it? Geez, I slay me...

Hmmm. From the sound of that argument, I hope you made sure those two particular pistols were unloaded before you put them away... ;)

Seriously, nice guns.

I'd love to photograph it before it gets scratched up.

I just got 2 new ones, but they are really quiet, so far.

Maybe I should put them next to each other...a Colt and a Colt replica

I'm betting this example doesn't have the lovely "added safety" that my later Tok has.....

Tell me about how snappy the recoil is with that bottleneck cartridge.

I have a sick fascination with the CZ52, shooting same.

Gun pr0n preverts.

Excellent photo, BTW.

Pretty Sweet.

You have two. Hmmmm. I'm thinking earrings, maybe bookends for your poetry collection, dueling pistols, a two-pistol small-of-the-back holster, or a nice Lara Croft rig.

As I said in one of your other thoughts, you need a F.B. Radom marked Mauser to go with the set!

Nice looking Tok!

Perhaps Barney said it best when he said "Hyuk! Hyuk!"

It's so Flash-Gordon Soviet-Retro that it just speaks "Boris and His Tractor" - kewl!

I feel terrible now. I think I'll throw my 9x19mm Norinco Tok into a lake.

I'd say more Boris and Natasha. Still, a beauty. Hope it works and plays well with your others.

Unfortunately, they have to add those to get them into the country. :(

I kinda figured you latched onto one that came in before all that jazz, you being at the gunshop and all. Ah, well, they are very enjoyable to shoot. The sights are a bit small, and the trigger isn't 1911 smooth, but for a milsurp they are quite nice, and for a commie gun, they are superb.
