Wow. Big shock there.

So it's Mayor Rahm in Chi-town.

Wow. Who could have seen that coming?

Looks like the Great Flaming Eye on top of Barad-Dur in the lands of Mordor has been replaced with a younger, slightly better-looking Great Flaming Eye.

Do you think Kim Du Toit would consider moving back to the Chicago now that Shortshanks is gone? Maybe not.

According to Fark, Rahm got 107 percent of the vote, which sounds about right.

It followed that sale on Illinois Supreme Court justices.

Has anybody checked to make sure the quarantine walls around Chicago are holding? Weapons grade stupid like that is too powerful to let out.

Through a seance. I heard my Deceased Mom, Grandmother, and Grandfather, life long republicans, all dead over a decade have moved to Chicago and voted for him. When I saw that article about the stacked bodies in Chicago graveyard http://www.ajc.com/news/nation-world/poor-stacked-in-mass-843423.html
I knew they were found by exit polling.

This post might explain your first post for today. I'm guessing the two are connected.

I wonder how many live people voted for him?

The efficiency of the Democratic Machine in any given area is measured by the number of recounts required to get victory.
Rahm's machine is more efficient than Al Franken's.
Hmmm...Rahm had to be allowed to run so that the the mayor would be elected by "the will of the people" and the Democrats in Wisconsin leave the state to thwart "the will of the people."
The "will of the people" must be followed if and only if it is in agreement with the will of the Democratic National Committee.

One crook replaces another. Big whoop.

The total Chicago gun ban will be back, or at least, there will be no improvement over the "common sense" (sptooie) gun laws there. And the cops will be as arrogant and criminal as ever.

Sadly, it seems that he was the best choice.

Great...first Harry Dresden gets shot and falls off a boat in Chicago, and now Ram-it-Through Rahm gets "elected" Mayor. I'm sensing a connection...

Joe in PNG,

"Sadly, it seems that he was the best choice."

That is the saddest but truest thing I've heard all week. Way to bring the bummer, dude.
