Overheard in the Office...

Me: "You don't want a proton beam used on your brain?"

RX: "No, I do not."

Me: "Fine, ya big baby."

Gamma Knife treatment is very safe and effective. Just be glad you have the option of clean and current treatment options. Most of the worlds countries cant afford to purchase one machine.

Best wishes to Bobbi for excellent care, a better-than-expected outcome and a speedy recovery.

Yeah, well about that--

Forget it. For-get-it. I have "atypical trigeminal nueralgia," essentially untreatable, and I have been through fiddling with it for a long, long time. I take OTC painkillers. Or I just get all crabby; whatever it takes to cope. Most of the "fixes" are a lot worse than the ailment.

There is the opposite of the proton beam: Positron tomography... That isn't good at cutting out bad things, but is very good at finding them.
