Check the box marked "OH, HELL, NO!"

Attention fellow Hoosiers: Don't forget that you have a chance to vote "NO" on the question of whether Justice Steven H. David keeps drawing a state paycheck this November.

This is the man who ruled that you have no right to resist an unlawful entry into your house by anybody with a badge. Take him off the state bench and put him back on the back cover of the phone book, where crappy lawyers belong.

Even if you're not the votin' kind, on the theory that you don't like choosing a master any more than you like having one chosen for you, you can still go in and vote "NO" for Justice Steven H. David and leave the rest of the ballot blank. Not even the most ardent wookie suiter could have a problem with sending a straight-up "YOU'RE FIRED!" to a politician.

Remember: Vote "NO" for Justice Steven H. David! There's even a Facebook page!

We could maybe replace him with this guy.

I think it is completely awesome that you actually get to vote no on incumbents. I've never heard of that before.

What Joel said. I understand the arguments against voting, and I sympathize, but self-defense is a legitimate argument.

Voting NO! is the best vote I have.

I wish we had a NO vote on incumbents in Georgia.

Given that the vote is a question on the ballot ("Should Justice Steven H. David be retained as a Justice of the Indiana Supreme Court?" or some such neutral wording), rather than an office to be voted for along with the rest of the thieves, er, candidates, most people don't even realize it's there (it's often on the back of the ballot along with other referenda questions), or just vote "yes" because they don't know of any reason to do otherwise.

I haven't voted "yes" on a judicial retention question in years, on the general principle that any man who is set up as judge over other men needs a bit of humbling now and again.

Ulises from CA-
We do have a chance to remove judges. Think of Rose Bird (from the last time Gov Moonbeam was in office). Rosie was the first Cal Chief Justice ousted by the voters (1986).
