Power Up With Sisu!

Vladimir Putin's plans continue to blow up in his face as Finland officially becomes the 31st member state of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization today.

Back in the early 2010's, I was questioning the need for NATO. I hadn't really been paying attention to the events in the Donbas, and the Euros themselves didn't seem very interested in keeping up their militaries or worried about Russia*.

But then ol' Vlad decided to become NATO salesman of the decade. Good job, Vlad.

*In retrospect, I should have taken the hint when Russia jumped froggy with Georgia (the one in the Caucasus, not the one on the way to Disney World) back in '08 during the waning days of the Dubya administration.
