It just doesn't get more sordid than this.

One Neil "Babyface" Rodreick, already having served time for trying to solicit a six-year-old boy back in '96, got on teh intarw3bz and convinced two Arizonans, Robert Snow and Lonnie Stiffler, that he was a pre-teen. The amorous duo, aged 43 and 61, drove up to Oklahoma to fetch their new, er, houseboy, and Stiffler, posing as his grandpa, enrolled him in a local middle school as "Casey Price".

While at school, Rodreick got himself charged with misdemeanor assault on a twelve-year old girl, which triggered a bit of scrutiny and blew his cover. School officials were quick to point out that they were going to review their policies to make it harder for adult sex offenders to hang out in classrooms. Let's hope so. Meanwhile, the pesky Eighth Amendment ensures that nobody will have their balls pounded into veal patties with a meat tenderizer over this, which would be the just and equitable punishment.

While neither trailer parks nor Camaros are specifically mentioned anywhere in this story, I'm picking up the vibe that both made at least cameo appearances.

Camaros are out these days. Ford F150s are the in thing with the good old boys of the modern age. Sometimes they get really wild and get a Ford F250 with extended cab and a diesel, but that's only when they're just being crazy.

"Parent Tricia Provost said as she dropped off her 10-year-old son and 6- and 8-year-old daughters at the school Wednesday that she wasn't worried. "I have a feeling this school is going to become the safest school in the country," Provost said."

Yeah, keep whistling past the skull orchard, honey. As if it isn't bad enough that a staggering amount of teachers molest the students (but apparently it only counts when it's a male teacher and female student), now people like this 29 year old slug are able to fool school administrators into thinking he's a seventh grader. But home schooling is for freaks...

You know, I saw this on the evening news, picture and all.

All I can think is, how in Holy Hell can anyone think this guy is a 12 year old 7th grader?

Didn't the fact that that his knees wouldn't fit under the desk provide a clue?

Jiminy Crickets, what a clueless world we live in...

When I was in 7th grade, my knees didn't fit under the desk, and I wasn't the tallest kid in my class.

There were two guys in my class with full beards, and they had been in my class for 7 years at that point.

"On Wednesday, officials of the Imagine School gave parents letters saying locks had been added to security gates..."

*rolls eyes*

As if physical barriers can make up for incompetence.

I owned a Camaro.

Should I turn myself in now or later?

"Our first priority is to help our students and our families establish a sense of security on our campus," said Rhonda Cagle, spokeswoman for the Imagine School at Rosefield,

---uh, well. . . looks like they failed at that, I'd say. Pretty much.

Just when you think the human race has reached rock bottom, someone takes it to a whole new level.

I admit to some difficulty in believing a teacher didn't snap to the age discrepancy, but I really have a problem in believing other kids were fooled.

Sometimes, juries must do "justice" rather than "law". There is a difference, you know.

Your quote is one reason I don't eat veal.

Wow, what a repugnant human being! I'm ok with death penalty for these types - they ruin countless lives as surely as any murderer does, and it's a legacy that spreads like ripples in a pond - nasty piece of work.

Boy, I don't want to think about what's going to happen to him in prison. A nickname like "Babyface" plus the child abuse charges....oi, he's gonna get passed around the cellblock like a peace pipe.

One can but Dream, Isaac. Actually, most modern prisons have segregation units. While an inmate is going through intake they are NOT in general population. After intake, if the are homosexual or convicted of a crime likely to get them abused they are sent to a segregated unit with others of their own "kind". It cuts down on the kind of Justice we would LIKE to see administered. Sorry to bust your bubble.
