Big shock there.

-3

As a 1930s wife, I am
Very Poor (Failure)

Take the test!

At least I don't wear red nail polish like some shameless hussy. I suspect I got docked points for preferring PJ's (actually old tee shirts or scrubs) to nightgowns.

Don't worry your crazy infidel cracker dhimmi head over it. When his holiness the Obama ascends to power you'll be safely wrapped in a burqa and confined to the kitchen with the goats.

you got minus three points? What about all that gardening? That's gotta count for something!

My wife scored a 6 and I got a 115...so the husband's role has not changed but the women have gone to crap...great...just great.

105 on the Husband scale here. It would be a more interesting test to have the wife grade the husband and vice versa.

Breda,

They never even enquired after the gardening. They seemed awfully concerned about me keeping the seams on my stockings straight, however. That, and not wearing a faceful of cold cream to bed.

This may prove helpful in remedying your situation.

I got Very Superior, but I'm not sure exactly why. I tried to be honest.

148 as a 1930s husband.

I agree, the expected roles for a husband have not changed, or at least the questions do not reflect the change as much as the questions for women reflect the changes in the expected role for a wife.

You're the first person I've seen that scored lower than I did. Apparently, my various womanly arts like "get a pill fit for a horse down the throat of a large dog that doesn't want it", "kill own vermin without yelping to husband for help", and "open own pickle jars" don't count.

Did you notice the question right after "religious, gets children to Sunday school and goes to church herself"? "Lets husband sleep in on Sundays and holidays". Apparently you can leave all that soul business to wifey. Handy division of labor, that.
