Very true. To make matters worse, as we fight the zombies, the government is creating new ones.

I disagree with this graph. The IRS is a lot scarier than child-zombies.

Yeah, I'm having issues with operating credit now, too: I am a wood flooring contractor, and have been doing business with a local flooring distributor here for more than a decade, never late paying a bill. Suddenly my 15-day account has been capped at $1,000.... That's not enough to purchase materials for an average 300 square foot job! It seems that the businesses the gubmint can't control, they want to destroy, using their control of the banks.... screw 'em all.

They keep yappin' about creating jobs, but seem hell-bent on making folk un-employed.

jimbob: They only want to create jobs they control. Mike Z Williamson had it right when he spoke of the "neo-feudalism party". If you're self employed, you won't need their "help".

That's OK, though: When a piece of equipment does not work, stop using it. If it insists upon impeding you when you are not using it, there are solutions, usually involving a dumpster.

And the Neo-Feudalism Party is supported by the last, whole, structural vestige of feudalism still remaining in operation - the Academe. From Deans and Barons to Students and Serfs, it's intact from top-to-bottom, imparting wisdom...
