We have a hard time getting that many people to stand on the National Mall or a state capitol lawn with several months' notice, and you think that many turned up to Podunk, NY in a couple hours? And the news media...which would be practically decorating their cupcakes with excitement...were somehow ignoring it?
I mean, if someone fell for stuff like this last night (or, worse, passed it on this morning), they should probably consider sleeping with their head in a dry-cleaning bag tonight out of pure shame.
