Meetup?

So, when are we Indy-area gunbloggers going to do some kind of feed 'n' chug? Maybe y'all could pretend to be yuppie trendoids and we could meet up someplace in Broad Ripple? (Admit it: It may be overrun with yuppie trendoid poseurs and knee-deep in hair salons, but the food & beer is teh awesome...)

Name the range. And a choice of weekends.

Maybe I can time it with a return to Indiana to retrieve all my worldly goods sitting in storage in Fishers. :)

My weekends in May and June are filling up fast, but an Indy meetup including both Og AND Tam would be hard to say no to...

oh, hell, when I think of Indy, I think of Indiana. My bad, sorry.

Okay, how about "gunbloggers within driving range of where I'm sitting. Even Ohioans."

Better? ;)

Hipsters, Tam, them's Hipsters. Unless of course they've got the worried look of someone that knows all the coke they did in the 80's left their heart a time bomb that's about ready to pop.

Specifically, I think the cutoff is onetime ownership of IBM stock.

I'd like to attend but I don't know if my roommate will let me.

I'm up for most weekends. I'm having a party in my personal bar on May 17th. You and Roberta are more than welcome to join us.

Let us know when you choose a day!

I'm up for it but May is going to be tough what with the boy graduating from Franklin College and planting the crops and all. A Sunday afternoon or early evening might work best, but that's just me.

(I'm assuming I am included?)

All The Best,
Frank W. James

I didn't realize how trendy Broad Ripple was. My grandparents lived there when I was a kid in the 70's, and I enjoyed playing in the rocket-shaped jungle gym in the park. Is that still there?

If I promise not to be too grumpy, can I come?

Depending on the day and time, it's only a 3-4 hour drive from Chitown...

The Mrs was just asking if we were all going to meet up. Sounds good to us, range or restaurant.

I'm game, but you already knew that.

And technically, the yuppies are in Fishers and Carmel, the hipsters are in The Rip.

My goodness, what a startling diverse crowd that would be, if you put all the Indy/Metro bloggers into a room together.

Tam, If you don't have to be all hip and yuppie-like there's pretty famous bar/grill out west of the speedway that's pretty nice. Can't remember the name now, left my Alzheimer's pills at home, but it's a racer hang out, has autographed helmets hanging all around.
