Getting hazed by mother nature.

This is all some "mess with the new girl" joke, isn't it? I mean, for the last several days it has been in the sixties and the Bimmer was parked in the garage with the top down. Right now it's 41 and sleeting, and it's supposed to frickin' snow tonight.

Y'all are just short-sheeting my bed here. Tell me you are. This can't be normal.

Welcome to Indiana. And it only goes downhill from here

Hey, if you don't like Midwestern weather, all you have to do is wait 15 minutes and it will change - probably for the worse.

Next week it will probably be 90 degrees and humid. Either that or it will still be snowing.

And people wonder why I live in Florida....

Sleet and snow in April isn't normal. (I went to college in Terre Haute.)

The rapid temperature drop, followed/accompanied by massive precipitation? That's pretty much par for the course. I'm couple hours south of Indy right now, and the prediction's pretty similar.

Been a mild winter when looking at the last 20 years or so, but a little longer lasting than the last couple.

Welcome to the Great Frozen North.

Maybe you've seen those emails that start with "You know you're in (insert Midwestern State name here) when you have to run your A/C and heater on the same day."

They're funny because they're true.

Yeah, but I moved here to get away from weird and unpredictable Spring weather.

Ah, April snow. Commonly referred to by Hoosiers (at least the ones I know) as "Nature's Last 'Fuck you' " of the year.

Ok Tam, Knoxville was bad enough, but you took fate a lot further north. What did you expect? I'm staying the hell in Florida. This "Carolina boy" don't do cold/snow/sleet. I'm glad some people like that stuff. I hope they all get the hell out of here soon!:)

Ahem. You moved north of the Mason-Dixon Line, didn't ya?

Could be worse. Last week, we received nearly an inch of standing ice pellets on the ground here in 20 minutes.

At least I don't have dodge tornadoes here.

Great frozen North my bolo-tie wearin' patoot. There was snow on the ground here in New Mexico this morning.

Frickin' storm fronts...

hey I recall a few years ago the Indy500 was run with temps in the 50's. So this is nothing.

Tam, you must have brought it with you. Or maybe my family friends did, they came in from Nashville this morning!

Either way, we're really glad to have you in Hoosier Land!

Welcome to Indy.

When I was stationed at Ft Ben the first time we had a day that started at 70 and dropped to 20 with snow by late afternoon. Hell just wait till thunderstorm season.

Weather in Phoenix? Sunny and warm. :)

labrat: You over in Gallup? I was talking with some truckers yesterday saying it was snowing to beat the band coming through there. (And that NMSP had picked that very moment to have a big old inspection fest. Lucky them.)

well, if you were in Texas, I'd say that was normal.

Don't feel lonely, just north of Seattle we had snow Thursday.

This year the color for Global Warming is white.

Nope. It's been like that down here in TN too. I had the house all opened up for a good portion of the week. It's 38 outside right now and they're talking about flurries tonight.
