Books. Bikes. Boomsticks.
Mind the sword, mind the people watch, mind the enemy...too many mind. No mind.
Sure do! (Thanks.)
I ain't crazy about the front post on my Armalite. I don't know enough about it, but I think it may not jive with the Rock River carry handle I put on it. The front post is waaay up, and the rear ring is all the way down.If I'm right, then I think I may have just found the the new front (post?), looking at the one Zercool put on his. Cool!WF - tolit: as in, all my spare money's gonna end up in the tolit now that I'm an AR owner. Seen any good sales on .223 lately?tweaker
I just put my order in for the front post at MidwayUSA. Hopefully, my groupings will get better at 200 yds.
Tweaker - I had to tighten that reticle/post alllll the way down to get elevation correct at 25m (I'm a fan of the military 25m zero with A2 sights).Minor down side to the KNS post: instead of the 4-positions per revolution accuracy, it's only two position. In other words, what may have been a 1/4MOA-per-click post just became a 1/2MOA post. *shrug* I don't find it objectionable.OrangeNeck: I didn't even bother to shoot with the original post; if I do at some point I'll let you know if it's better or worse. I love the sight picture with this reticle, though.
Now that I've looked through your site some more, I want to add that it's all the more gratifying that you mentioned actionflickchick.com to your readers. Hundreds of people visited my site from yours this evening, so clearly we have some interests in common. Thanks!
Zercool - Thanks for the head's up. It just occured to me that I was zeroing in at 50yds, so that may have something to do with it.As far as the click/revolution, the rifle is waaaay more accurate than I am. I've got about 100 rounds in so far, and I've never shot an AR before this one. I don't think I'm good enough yet to worry about MOA! Someone once said that, for the time being, I'm fine with Minute Of Barn, or Minute Of Bad Guy:)tweaker
