Actually, with the Mark 6 3-18X Loopie, this is more "optics pr0n" than "gun pr0n", but whatever...
(And yes, the scope was as amazing as the price tag would indicate.)

Love good glass. Anytime someone asks me about playing around in the sub-MOA world I tell them to plan on spending as much or more on the glass as on the rifle.
Until a couple of years ago all my scope experience was with Leopold glass (and one Burris I owned briefly). Then I helped a friend sight in a couple of deer rifles with sub-200 dollar Bushnell and Tasco scopes that had not been well cared for. The chore that was showed me how scope spoiled I am.
I will go cheap at times though. My Revelation bolt action .22 wears a cheap $50 Red Head from Bass Pro. It serves its purpose.

Ammo on the bench to the right looks to be 5.45 X 39. I am curious to hear (read) your impression of shooting that AR/cartridge combo.
Y'know, I believe those are .308s.
I was so gaga over the optic that I paid practically no attention to the gun I was firing. :s
I like the Butt stock. What is it?
That is a Magpul PRS.
Looked it up. I guess you have to pay for pretty. Thanks.
It ain't the pretty you're paying for.
Nice glass! And is that the TamCam, with battery grip, behind it?
No, sadly. The TamCam is taking the picture: A Rebel XTi.
