Okay, that's a little over the top.

Brazilian housewife Rosanita dos Santos was convicted of drugging her husband in his sleep and stabbing him to death, which is all fairly routine and not especially newsworthy. It was what she did next that launched her into the headlines:
She then hacked Jose Raimundo Soares dos Santos' body into more than 100 pieces, which she boiled and fried before hiding in plastic bags beneath a staircase in her house,
If it had just been the drugging and stabbing, I'd guess that he left the seat up one night too many, but all that work in the kitchen? That was working off a pretty serious grudge. Maybe he snored.

Ya know if you are going to do it, you all might as well do it right....

*sigh*

All that trouble to cook... she could have just frozen it and tossed it a little at a time and nobody would have been the wiser... just more leftovers in the trash.

Not that I think about these things regularly, now...

You know, in this get-it-done-yesterday kind of world, it's always nice to hear about someone who takes pride in a job well done.

Reminds me of the story I heard from a guy who was a Border Patrol cop down in Laredo. He told me he used to visit with a little old lady selling tamales on the Mexican side and one day she was gone. The next day she was in the paper for having killed her husband and turned him into tamales.

I don't know that it was true, but it made a great story.

Nice to see some women still know how to really cook. An American woman would have used the microwave and expected thanks for the gray sludge. Good on her for keeping tradition alive.

Maybe he snored? That's what earplugs are for.

Did she use a vacuum-sealer for freshness? That'd be one hell of an emergency meal.

Senora Santos took an axe
Gave her husband 40 whacks
When she saw that he had died
She cubed and spiced the parts she fried

Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and cuisine.
