Look what finally showed up from OlyArms yesterday! After over a year of scheming, the .300 Whisper Project is finally underway. Barrel threading is next.

I find it amusing that you have "kaafir" written on it in Arabic; is that a warning? LOL
I want one of those "kaafir" receivers, in any caliber!
**gratuitous oohing and ahhing burst forth from the peanut gallery.**
I have a shirt with "infidel" (kaafir) on it, so I have need such a receiver as well.
I'm sure that one would agree that one must match.... tactically that is ;-)
We have those receivers available at the Armory. $120 while supplies last... :)
865.966.4545. That's "VOL-9MM-4545" on your touch-tone phone.
Tam
No rear sight? Or do you have a scope your going to mount?
Sorry, Second attempt on Nyquil... No rear sight, or are you going to mount a scope/holosight on that puppy? And how many of those Receivers are left?

I'm probably going to move the Leupold CQ/T from my 6.8 over to the Whisper, move the black EOTech 512 from Project Housegun over to the 6.8, and pick up one of the new Flat Dark Earth EOTech 553's to put on Project Housegun.
I think we have, like, eight or so of the "Infidel"-marked lowers left...
You're going to need rehab! Kafir is the derogatory term for infidel in dar al Islam, but nobody cares about insults to those who are NOT Moslems.
HOWEVER, south of the Molopo it's "the N word".
Kaafir is an all-purpose word for non-believers; a derogatory word for Christians is nasrani (Nazarene).
And in South Africa, it has the same meaning, connotation, and consequence of use as "the N word" does in the U. S.
"HOWEVER, south of the Molopo it's "the N word"."
Thankfully I am well north of the Molopo.
