The problem with counterprotesting the hippies is that they so often hold their protests between the hours of nine and five on weekdays, when those with opposing views generally have to be at work.
Let them hold one on a Saturday, though, and a few more counterprotestors can turn up.

Thanks so much for that link. I actually got chills looking at the pics of the "sea" of our beautiful flag being held by Loyal patriots.
My daughter and I drove down from Jersey at 3AM to be there. It was worth every freezing minute.
I've got pictures on my site also...you'll like the Jane Fonda Field Office.
There were vets everywhere. It was like Woodstock for hard-asses. Apparently plenty of bloggers were there too. You couldn't swing a hippy without hitting a biker.
We outnumbered them at least 3 to one even spread over the memorials from the mall to Arlington.
What a great day.
I am in AWE of the RESTRAINT shown by the veterans. They outclassed them all. With so much desecration of the flag & the IDEALS it stands for, I would've been hard-pressed to not retaliate.
Kudos to the vets!
Wow - thanks for the link - what a great start to the week!
Is it any wonder that the anti-war crowd's signs were mostly yellow?
I think not.
