Gotta go brush the snow off the gators...

How do you say "snow" in Cajunspeak?

AD's little girl looks happy. The dog looks a little confused. And Spanish Moss looks weird with a light dusting of global warming...

And we're getting all the rain up here in NY. Did the planet do a one-eighty while we were sleeping?

Neige. Snow. Le blanc merde. The white s--t. All depends on how many months you've been stuck in the cabin.

No, no...nobody says "global warming" anymore. That would be a light dusting of "climate change".

Or possibly a light dusting of Gore Effect.

It's 'Holy crap!" followed by 'Does this mean campus is closed?' Yes, it is, and while you're celebrating having that final exam postponed, say goodbye to your electricity while you're at it. It still hasn't been turned back on. Bah.

If you are wearing Gaiters, you are supposed to get snow on them.

I'm just glad I was already at work when it started, and not en-route like some of my co-workers. One was up on the Huey P. Long when the snow hit in earnest.

I last saw snow in Louisiana in about 11985. Darn all the warming that has happened since then....
