Packing up.

I'm about to depart... well, tomorrow morning, actually... for the old stomping grounds in Tennessee for a few days. See the sights, hang out with my old posse, visit CCA, that kind of stuff. Thanks to the magic of Al Gore's intertubes, blogging won't even be interrupted.

Contributions to the roadtrip petrol fund are always appreciated and may be made to the right.

Good timing, Tam--it's supposed to be 60-something tomorrow. Beats the hell out of 9 degrees yesterday morning.
Drive safely (if rapidly).

No place like home for the holidays.
Funny about cliches. They become more true as we grow up.
I make a lot of Indianapolis jokes, but I've met a lot of great people out there and had a lot of good times.
Still, this time of year, I would need my mountains and forests too, and the people who inhabit them.
Drive safe, have a great time, and maybe Santa and the Post Office will be good to you by the time you get back.

I'll be home. Heavily armed. So don't nobody get no clever ideas, 'kay?

Safe travels and happy holidays, you fabulous thing!

Oh, and next time at the churrascaria, ask for the bottom sirloin. You'll thank me, the boys in the short pants will be impressed. ;)

I'm reliable informed Miss Tam has arrived in K-town, safe and sound.

Also? The connection between shutting the door of the smallest room and telephone ringing still exists.
