You think you're bad?

What I've been reading:

I don't care how tough you think you are, bring a frickin' hankie.

I remember how late in life, Ulysses S. Grant found himself financially ruined by poor choices in financial speculation. And then being diagnosed with cancer.

I remember how he drove himself - despite the pain - to write his memoirs. How he finished a week before his death. How the astonishing success of the book saved his family from poverty.

I sure hope that Brown's family gets the proceeds of this book.

Every man struggles with the notion that he did not make a difference in this world. Adam Brown is an exception.

Dang. Just placed an Amazon order this morning. "Fearless" is now the first book in my shopping cart for my next order.
