Today In History: Dune buggies on the moon!
Apollo 15 astronauts took the first lunar joyride on this date in 1971. You'd think that a car with a $950,000 window sticker would go faster than 8 mph. (I did like the ingenious duct tape repairs, though...)

And some nutcases say it never left earth, no need for duct tape then I say. :-)
