Brrr!

Almost cracked into the high forties last night here in Broad Ripple, with a low temp this morning of 50°F. Yesterday was, if I heard aright, the lowest daily high temp for the date since before Kaiser Bill abdicated, a balmy 71°F.

It was absolutely Chamber of Commerce weather; perfect for a day at the range.

Same thing here on Tuesday, with a record low high temperature for the day of 65F. It's been beautiful sleeping-with-windows-open weather for July, but the heat and humidity are coming back with a vengeance for the weekend and next week.

We've also got a bumper crop of the Minnesnowta state bird (the mosquito) this year from all of the rain we've had. How are bugs when you go to an outdoor range in Indy?

Feeling very late September-ish here 8 hours South of you on 65.

I'm so jealous. We've been over 100 15 of the last 16 day, with 4 or 5 of those days over 104...ick, ick, ick.

Not as jealous about the 'skeeters...nice thing about the desert, unless you are right down on the Columbia, not too many bugs.

I blame global warming.
Which is all George W. Bush's fault.
Because he hates blacks.
Of course.

Chamber o' commerce can send the tourists home far as I'm concerned. It's too cold to swim in the pool! and my children are not amused.
