So...

I managed to stay asleep until 6:45, dreaming of shopping for fuschia and lemon yellow exercise wear and electric blue Vibram five-fingers that were on clearance, but all too big or small for me. Also, the dream involved a lot of driving around a weird Tyrolean version of Atlanta that was infested with vintage British sports cars. I was driving a beaut of a TR3.

I woke, realized it was a holiday and I had no immediate chores, and so I just lay there, idly surfing the intertubes on the iPad, normally a guaranteed soporific. When an hour had passed and I was still disgustingly awake, I came out here to the computer to pester you guys, and here I am.

Tam, did you ever watch that cartoon "the Maxx"? If so, it may explain the colors you selected.

Happy day we celebrate what is mostly an outmoded concept in this nation.

I posted a book of Face mini rant about that.

Heading to the range in a few. Hoping to get some quality time in on the 500 yard bench before the place gets too crowded.

And wishes for a good day!

Yesterday I was given a Zed 3 to work on. Two thoughts went through my mind at once..

1) How the hell am I going to squeeze my but into this roller skate?

2) Will I be as cool as Tam while I drive it?

1a) Shoehorn
2a) No... it was a slushbox.

Happy Independence Day! We had our (Boston) fireworks last night due to anticipated bad weather today. The traditional playing of The 1812 Overture was cancelled, and a good thing too, as the skies opened up almost right after the fireworks. I stepped outside and was soaked in <20 sec by surprisingly cold rain. 'twas an excellent storm.

Vibram Five Fingers -- would dream you have bought 'em if in your size?
