The grist mill in Pioneer Village is powered by a
hit-and-miss engine. It's become something of a tradition to get lunch in the Indiana Beef Cattle Association tent next to Pioneer Village, and the sound of the engine chugging away is now linked by association in my mind to the taste of a ribeye sandwich.
This year, the engine was a different one than usual, with an open waterfall radiator for cooling.
