Happy National Ammo Day!

Go buy some ammo today!

I'm going to do a double whammy, placing an order at Georgia Arms as well as driving down to Beech Grove Firearms; spread the love around, so to speak...

If I ordered ammo from Georgia Arms a couple days ago (Sat nite to be precise) and it hasn't arrived yet, would that count? How about if I load some tonight?

Mebbe I'll get some 30-30 for the Contender. I don't yet load for it.

Be patient with GA Arms, they are snowed under (along with everyone else). I am awaiting shipment of some rounds myself

I hear you. I ordered 4,000 rounds of ammo from Georgia Arms on the 10th, and it still has not shipped.

Does several thousand rounds on BACKORDER count? Someone didn't make the appropriate offerings to the Gods of supply chain management lately. Even Brownell's is backordered on high cap magazines - "So if you need mags in a hurry..."

Actually, this warms the cockles of my heart - so many people buying guns, ammo, and gun accessories. Take THAT Bloomie!

Hey Seamus! I didn't know you was a New Yawkuh! I was born there myself, albeit as a Navy Brat in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, but I escaped.
Actually, given the financial corner Bloomberg has painted himself into, and the fact that New York Democrats regard cuts in government as exclusively effecting Police and Fire Departments, stocking up on boom stuff is a really great idea. Or getting out of the city entirely, and commuting if needed from some place north of Danbury.

I bought 100 rounds of 9mm WWB for Holly on the evening of the 19th. Then, today, my dealer called and told me that the one thousand rounds of .223 have arrived. I feel we've done our part for Natl Ammo Day. ;)
