Vobis Non Me Dux.
I remember my Dad waking me up to watch the lift-off on TV. 2 years later he had gotten out of the Air force and wangled a job on the space coast and he got to take me to see the Sally Ride launch from the viewing center on the cape.In 1986 I was watching outside my Junior high when Challenger died. I think that moment was when my childhood ended.
I was there to watch STS-7, too! :)
I actually worked on the Columbia, after STS-107. Very sad.
Heh, I'll have to pull out the pictures and see if I see a little Tamara K. in the crowd...word verification: cooking
