Brad: Nobody said anything about not preparing. The article was about taking ownership of one's freedom and choices. Incidentally, that post outlined why I get honked off when people say the government "took away their rights". Rights can't be taken away by any many, any more than they can be given. Governments can only impose consequences for exercising rights. The choice of whether to do so is always ours.
