Ah, but I loved James Brown if only for the wigs and those smoking dance moves. Perhaps some hair band said it best when they said "every rose has its thorn." I totally forgot about his domestic battery issues. I suspect he got beat half-to-death with a handbag or a platform sandal more than once, too.
