The Security Council will have to fight off the attempts of the Human Rights Committee to grab all this moolah....
You think that's bad?
Try being the employee of a church with your email listed on the front page.
Turns out there's a whole niche in the Nigerian scammer economy just for gullible pastors and office managers.
I guess there's a ton of widows who are about to die of cancer but want their money used for world missions. Apparently all they need is the church's bank account number....
Makes sense, I suppose. Most mid-size and up churches have far more cash on hand than your average individual.
I've received a half-dozen emails from Kofi Annan hisself with the same or similar offers of 'restitution'. Maybe they're working in tandem. I'd hate to think they're in competition to give all this money away.
You'd think folks would catch on by now.
Regards,
Rabbit.
You are so fortunate! It's about time you won the lottery. Not enough to live on forever, but enough to get you by for a while comfortably. :)
He did leave a way to get back with him didn't he. Otherwise, it'd just be a cruel joke.
I just saw a new version on this: The "scammee" signs up for as many scams as possible, intentionally, and then when he or she cashes the fake money orders or travelers cheques that they're sent, he or she claims that they sent all the money back. "I've been scammed!"
Meanwhile, the money goes up in meth smoke and paid off late debts.
www.419eater.com A web site devoted to scamming the scammers, getting them to photograph themselves doing silly things, holding scandalous signs, and has a selection of scam letters-"It turns out I have cancer, and the doctors say it may be serious". Submitted for your qlryih.
I was at my littermate's and Okra was yapping to internet fools. One bunch was women who had been economically and/or emotionally drained by iternet dating.
They had set up a web support group.
Littermate said, "Now THAT is the place to meet women!"
