ProTip: Hydrate or die!

So, last night was a Warcrack night, and I stayed up a little past my bedtime and there are... hmm... fewer beers in the refrigerator this morning than there should be.

If y'all will pardon me for a moment, I'm going to go take the First Lady's advice and drink a whole bunch of water. With aspirin. Back in a mo'.

(Incidentally, if you are into wheat beers, I highly recommend the fine products of Boulevard Brewing. I'm on something of a wheat jag, and they have a variety to choose from, all of which are exceptionally yummy.)

Rough raid last night.

"Normal" mode? Jebus. I needed more booze after that one.

I just bought a new video card and it has made all the difference for my gaming experience... but when I add a few beers the improved graphics seem to lose their sharpness... The card must be defective...

While I have had that happen to me recently... wheat beers? Really?? Not my cup of tea at all... I have a nice American Pale Ale I brewed on tap at the moment and it takes some will power on my part to meter it out or else work would not see me for a few days! Feel better soon.

To crush your enemies, see them driven before you... and to hear the lamentation of their women!

That will work up a thirst.

White Lantern out of Samuel Adams is also a good Witbeer.

Friends asked "Are you into gaming?"
"Darn tootin'" says I.
"Great, join us Friday night."
So I show up with my map boards, cardboard counters, and dice ...
We use the same words but speak a totally different language.

Stretch,

I feel ya.

Although I will offer this suggestion: Check out the games from Battlefront.com. They're like Squad Leader brought to life.

We just came back from visiting our youngest in Austin TX. During the visit he proudly pointed out that all that time spent gaming paid off.

Blizzard hired him full time with benefits. Sheesh, who knew.

I'm glad I'm not the only one stuck in a wheat loop.

Oooo, did somebody say wheat beer?

Beer is loaded with carbohydrates - rum has no carbs.

...This Atkins diet has taken my life in a totally unexpected direction... ;^)'

Battlefront.com is now bookmarked.
Always happy to find another time/money suck.
I still run a Win98 machine so I may play Steel Panthers, a digital version of PanzerBlitz. Such games go much faster when you don't have to count out movement points, figure odds or LOS. Still hurt to lose a Tiger.

I have not had a beer in three months. (though Single Malt has passed my lips) I've lost 17 pounds. I am ready to take hostages at the Brew Pub. I will only release them for a lawnmower ale and some of lamb bacon. But the corset thing in the closet will fit now.
