Boomsticks: Gratuitous Gun Pr0n No. 4

'64 S&W Model 27-2, with CRKT/Corkum First Strike. Absolute sex on a stick...

(For the sharp-eyed revolver geeks among you: Yes, I know that's a HKS .41 Magnum N-frame speedloader. It's what was handy while the light was decent...)

That is one fine revolver. The first N-frame I ever toted was a 4-inch Model 28. The slightly shorter barrel on the older 27s seemed to work even better for me. It is not fun not having one any more.

I despise the full-lug barrels S&W puts on revolvers these days. Pistol whipping went out of vogue a few decades back, and I don't like all the weight out forward.

What holster do you have there, Tam?

That's a pancake holster for 3" N-frames from PWL leather. (Part no. 120TS)

Very nice. Thos snub-nosed N frames are gorgeous.

Thanks, Tam, for the holster information. I've seen the PWL ads before but never have put hands on one.
