You know it's dry in here when...

...you lean your carbine against the filing cabinet at VFTP Command Central and a staccato daisy chain of little blue sparks crackles between the drawer and the flash suppressor.

Note To Self: We'll not be doing any RAM upgrades today.

mix you some cheap fabric softener 50/50 with water and put it in a garden sprayer . A light spray of the carpet will kill the static for days to a week and its easy to re apply .

Our humidifiers at Casa de' G-98 have been running non-stop since about October. The dogs don't like getting static electricity sparks bridging to their noses...

(I'm assuming such appliances are running at Roseholm Cottage?)
