Things are tough all over.

The North Koreans are looking to get into the ICBM business...

Mount Redoubt is smoking away...

Rioters are smashing bank windows in London...

Fargo is flooding...

...and OH MY GOD THERE ARE PHTHALATES IN MY PILATES EQUIPMENT!

(Inspector Green needs to be introduced to his cousin, Soylent, tout de suite.)

Heh. Phthalates.

They're everywhere. Phthalates are the friggin' Elvis of the plasticizer world.

And if someone is working out hard enough to leach phthalates out of a medicine ball, they have bigger things to worry about, namely spontaneous freakin' combustion...

They put stamp collectors in your pilates equipment?

Phthalates are more commonly encountered in those 2 liter soda bottles. The risk of phthalates was demonstrated years ago by feeding rats a diet of well, essentially pure phthalates and then some of them got cancers. I think you will be safe if you don't eat the whole exercise ball in one sitting, or perhaps include a side salad with your meal of exercise ball.

Going down that list all of a sudden I have a certain damnable Billy Joel song in my head...

Thanks

Randy, it's got the Kingston Trio's Merry Minuet running in my head!

You know, if you can say "phthalates" without spitting like Daffy Duck, you'll probably do all right in Attic Greek.

Just for those of you who may have needed that little extra boost.

This'd explain why my hit count is about ten times its usual level today. Thanks for the link!

Perhaps we could put Holder or Hilliary on the South Korean DMZ line with a Barrett 50. You know the weapon that can shoot down all those airliners...

How tough would a lowly Korean Missile be to those Firearms experts?

Mikee said...

A 50 will do for airliners. For missiles, I think the phased photon beam ionic super blaster is preferred.

Mikee: don't they sell those, unregulated, here in American gun shops?
