Nardelli takes over HD. HD nearly collapses. Nardelli hired by Chrysler. Chrysler going into bankruptcy.
But, we've gotta keep paying them stupid money to keep talent!
I don't mind if a really smart guy does one hell of a job and gets compensated for it. I object when the incompetent still get compensated.
In fairness, when he took the gig at Chrysler, it was like getting the keys to the Titanic, post-'berg.
With most of these corporate collapses, the real incompetents have already been shown the door before Congress and the media are involved. It was certainly the case with AIG.
