I'm going on Saturday, unless it's pouring rain like last time I went. Sailing my friend's F250 out of the parking lot was less than optimal.

Joys upon joys, I just turned money into plumbing. Apparently when your pipes burst and all the water is leaking out into your yard, there's none left for inside the house.
Oh well... I'm envious nonetheless.
OH, Tam: why do you hurt me so? Money into noise indeed: like an F-4 Phantom. Arguably, just as much fun. Enjoy, and report.

Sorta kinda almost...
A good friend (you'll see why in a bit) promised to put together an M4 for me while I was away in Iraq. It's finished now and I'm picking it up tomorrow.
I'm going back via Indianapolis on Saturday so I can spend time with a Platoon our Company adopted recently. Don't ask me how we got 'em - I don't know - but they're ours and I have to go down there and help look after them for a day.

I'm tossing another Jackson in the jar, and it would please me greatly to know that it bought a bit of noise for you with one of those squirtguns ('bout three seconds worth I figure).
So anyway, have fun and relate the experience at your leisure so the rest of us can have that (almost) unequalled rush...vicarious though it may be.

I wish I could, but time and money in short supply and long demand, as usual. Someday, though. Did get to shoot a ma Deuce some years back, which was ten seconds of great fun.
(Sigh.)
Some people just live larger than others I suppose.
Have fun and come back with great epic tales so that the rest of us can live vicariously through you.
Its close enough, but to join a theme here I recently converted money into a water pump, hoses, timing chain, and gear on the beater ride. Oh and some letters from the Colt and S&W historians. And a Colt Mustang .380.

Maybe in the fall. Haven't been out that way in at least a few months, so I hope the city fathers haven't torn down the giant catfish while I wasn't paying attention.

Interesting, but a bit too far for the Trusty Triumph today, I am interested in what and how they shoot the machine guns - ranges, cone of fire, employment of grazing fire, use of T&E mechanisms, are they doing it crew served manner or just wild man Commando from under the arm? Yep, pictures and story would be nice, but I don't want to burden you - next year's date would be good in case I still haven't gainful employment nor won the Lotto.
I had planned to go this year(finally!), but alas, the Hope reached me in November, and I only have Change left in my pocket now, until I can find work. Perhaps in a tractor factory?

I'm a regular at Knob Creek, its my "home range". The mud isn't that bad, bring your rain gear, wear boots appropriate for the mud, and make sure you're there with decent tires. Don't be the jackass with a four wheel drive truck on bald touring tires wearing sandals.
Pack water and some food. The food lines tend to be long and dehydration is not fun.
Aside from that, welcome to my home range. I'll be watching for our blogging overlords and shaking their hands if I see them!
