Boy, is my face red...

...and not because I'm Todd Jarrett's "Special Ed" pupil, but because I typed on this very blog the words "Sunscreen? Check."

Yeah. Well...

SPF nine jillion doesn't work when it's still in the bottle, unless you, like, tape the bottle to your face to block the sun's rays or something. Whereas if you forget it in your room and don't bother to borrow anybody else's, you just get cooked.

Uh-oh. I was thinking last night as I looked at Joe Huffman's photos, "Tam's gonna come back just stoked! ...And" (looking more closely) "prolly sunburned."

It's too late to remind you, but the effect is cumulative.

"Special" is so year before last. The current term is "exceptional".

It still means retarded, though.

Which was the first euphemism for half witted.

Drink a lot of water, take a couple of aspirin, and rest. I'm a damnable, palefaced 'tard of Scottish-Norse descent who has left his sunscreen behind numerous times when heading to the range. I've felt your pain.

I'm part Cherokee. But there's not enough red man mixed in to keep me from turning red.

Dirt soot and dust mixed with a lot of sweat is pretty impenetrable to the sun.....
