Yesterday...

...was worth blogging about, but I'm waiting on a post from Caleb (hint, hint, no pressure...)

Today I am going to take a bicycle ride on the Monon and then turn up for the Indy Blog Meet. Hopefully the ruffians and vagabonds that have plagued the Monon of late have not come this far north, but if so, we have a better remedy than batphone call boxes.

Ruffians and vagabonds indeed. But did you mean to leave out varlets, blackguards, and poltroons? Surely not.

If you have found an amicable solution to packing heat on a velocipede, email me milady.

Of course you may have options unavailable to me.

Hey, those call boxes can be useful as in, "Clean up on mile six!"

"Never will an criminal have been so happy to see a cop."

I don't think anyone would want those three counting coup on him if he truly had eyes that worked.

I am interested to read Tam's solution for bike carry.

I haven't come up with anything better than the dreaded fanny pack. Nothing says "geek" better than a fanny pack, bike shorts, and a bike helmet.

I use a "Man purse" that was a six-pack cooler. I'm gonna go all Monica Lewinsky, and design my own as this wears out. Methinks it'll have an integral or detachable holster. I want it to be accessible without opening the flap.

But then, is metrosexual a promotion from geek?
