anon, the free market has been provided high cap (25, 30, 32, 50, 75 & 'hunerd' round) mags for a few decades now. & thanks to an unconstitutonal unpleasantness subsiding said mags are reasonably priced again.
& miss Tam, I tried e-mailing you about a curious matter I was hoping for some advice on. If you never got it would you do me the kindness of dropping me an e-mail?
Have you seen something called a Krinker Plinker. Takes a few AK parts; the triangular folding stock, pistol grip and forgrip, and produces an interesting little toy. go to www.krinkerplinker.com.

good luck on the 50 round mag. Ruger hates high caps in the hands of civilians.
